Location

The Amphitheater of Pompeii, where Andrea Bocelli’s concert will take place, is a historic and iconic venue located within the ancient ruins of Pompeii. Built around 80 BCE, it is the oldest surviving stone amphitheater in the Roman world. The amphitheater is known for its excellent acoustics, making it an ideal location for a concert. Its remarkable preservation allows visitors to experience its grandeur, with three tiers of seating and an open-air arena. The structure has survived the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and remains one of the most impressive remnants of Pompeii. The setting, surrounded by the ruins of the ancient city, provides a stunning backdrop for cultural events. Bocelli’s concert in this unique location will offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience, combining world-class music with the extraordinary atmosphere of a historical monument.

Nearest Airport: Naples Capodichino airport The hotels in Naples are about 20/25 minutes driving from the airport The Hotel in Sorrento are about 50/55 minutes driving from Naples airport By Car Take the A1 or A3 highway in the direction of Naples. By Public Transport Naples is well-connected to major Italian cities by high-speed trains, making the trip comfortable and fast. To reach Sorrento, you can take the Circumvesuviana train from Naples Central Station or Naples Garibaldi station to Sorrento. The journey takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a SITA bus from the Naples bus terminal (near Piazza Garibaldi) to Sorrento, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. During Summer, there are ferries and hydrofoils that depart from Naples (Molo Beverello or Calata Porta di Massa) to Sorrento. The trip typically takes about 40-50 minutes. The day of the concert, the transfer will take about 30 minutes from Naples to Pompei and 45 minutes from Sorrento.

Should the show performance be permanently interrupted after at least 30 minutes from the show start, spectators shall not be entitled to a refund. *In case of strike announced by Theatre management and/or in case of ‘Force Majeure’ (earthquake, natural disaster or a performer illness), Activity Breaks shall not be held responsible for the event cancellation and will refund only the face value of the tickets. *Spectators with reduced mobility or disabilities who wish to attend the show in the seats reserved for them by law (which vary depending on the venue) must send a request to require those kinds of seats. *The transfer is guaranteed until 1:00 AM; beyond this time, an additional fee may be required

Where exactly is the Teatro del Silenzio and how do I get there?

The Teatro del Silenzio is an open-air amphitheatre in Lajatico, in the Tuscan hills between Pisa and Volterra. It only opens for Andrea Bocelli's summer concert, so there's no regular public transport to the venue. Check your package details for concert-night transfers — and if you'd rather not drive, tell us when you book and we'll sort the logistics for you.

What seats or ticket categories are included in the package?
