The Teatro del Silenzio is an open-air amphitheatre in Lajatico, in the Tuscan hills between Pisa and Volterra. It only opens for Andrea Bocelli's summer concert, so there's no regular public transport to the venue. Check your package details for concert-night transfers — and if you'd rather not drive, tell us when you book and we'll sort the logistics for you.
We offer a range of ticket categories for the Teatro del Silenzio, from more affordable tiers to premium seating closer to the stage. Availability and exact categories vary each year as the event sells out quickly. Let us know your budget and priorities and our team will talk you through what's currently available for the date you want.
Andrea Bocelli's Teatro del Silenzio concert normally takes place on a summer evening each July, but the confirmed date and ticket release are announced by the organisers on their own timeline each year. We keep a close eye on announcements and recommend registering your interest early with us so we can secure your package as soon as tickets open.
The Teatro del Silenzio is an open-air venue, and the concert has always gone ahead as planned in the past, rain or shine, as part of its magic under the stars. Do bring a light waterproof just in case. If the organisers ever announce a change, we'll be in touch straight away with guidance.
There's no strict dress code, but most guests dress smart-casual for the occasion, think elegant evening wear rather than jeans and trainers. Tuscan July evenings can turn cool once the sun goes down, so we'd suggest bringing a light jacket or wrap alongside your outfit for comfort during the performance.
Our partner hotels sit in and around Volterra and San Gimignano, generally within a comfortable drive of Lajatico. Each package page shows the hotel location, and our team will make sure you know exactly how you're getting to the concert and back before you travel — just ask if you'd like us to arrange transfers.
