After the fabulous last editions the 3Tre, among the most historical competitions of the White Circus, gets back as a fixed stage on the Canalone Miramonti slope. On the 7th January the lights will turn on again on Canalone Miramonti, which hosts a edition of the 3Tre Fis Ski World Cup Men's Night Slalom. Spend all day cruising the vast ski area and enjoy the FIS World Cup Slalom. Savoia Palace Hotel**** This elegant 4* hotel is located right in the centre of Madonna di Campiglio, less than 50m from the 5 Laghi gondola station. The cosy hotel bar with two fireplaces and comfortable armchairs is a great place for pre/post dinner drinks and has become a popular aperitivo spot especially at weekends. Garage and outdoor parking available. The spacious, wood lined rooms offer views over the main square and dolomites or the pine forests and ski area behind the hotel. All rooms come complete with private bathroom with bath and overhead shower, satellite TV, free WiFi, phone, minibar, safe and hairdryer; some double rooms have balconies. A large buffet breakfast is served in the sunny breakfast room, while the restaurant offers a selection of local, national and international dishes as well as a very good wine list. The wellness centre offers a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, aromatherapy showers and relaxation area. Massages and other treatments are available on request, to be paid separately.

Location

Madonna di Campiglio (1550m) is one of the most exclusive resorts in Italy. The elegant main piazza is lined with upmarket shops and cafè bars and there are a number of exclusive bars and restaurants that offer a lively nightlife. While the area is most famous for its extensive ski area, non skiers have a variety of other activities to choose from including open air ice skating, husky dog sledging, snow shoe excursions, and even paragliding. For Nordic ski enthusiasts there are 40km of cross country trails. The attractive city of Trento is an hour and a half away by car, and there are a number of museums and castles in the area worth exploring, as well as some excellent wineries. Après ski While you may not be heading here for the fantastic skiing, that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the après ski! Things really get going before dinner for the traditional Italian aperitivo when the smart cafés and bars around the town fill with people sipping prosecco, aperol spritz and other pre dinner drinks. There are some excellent fine dining choices, with three Michelin starred restaurants (the most of any Italian Alpine resort) and some other, more affordable options. Post dinner there are a few exclusive bars and clubs that usually get busy after midnight, often tables are available by reservation only. Madonna di Campiglio is more expensive than other Italian resorts but there are some more affordable places to eat and drink tucked away around the town.

Nearest Airport: Verona – 165km / 2.5 hours Other airports: Milan Bergamo (Orio Al Serio), Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate By Car From Verona take the A22/E45 to Trento, exit at Trento Nord and head towards Cles, Male, Dimaro, Madonna di Campiglio. By Public Transport www.flyskishuttle.it offers a direct bus service from Verona and Milan Bergamo to Madonna di Campiglio at weekends. Book online at least a week in advance. Alternatively from Verona Airport take a shuttle to Verona Porta Nuova Train Station, every hour there is a train to Trento. From Trento Porta Nuova the bus company Trentino Trasporti www.ttesercizio.it guarantees bus service approx one every hour to Madonna di Campiglio. By Private Transfer Taxi available outside airport. Private transfer available on request after main booking.

Is the hotel truly ski-in ski-out?

Many of our ski hotels in Bormio, Madonna di Campiglio and across the Alps offer genuine ski-in ski-out or near-slope access, though the exact distance to the lifts varies by property and resort. If slope access is a priority for you, let us know and we'll point you towards the closest options available.

Are ski passes and equipment rental included in the package?

We can include skipasses and equipment hire as part of your package, or arrange them locally on arrival, depending on the resort and what suits you best. Just let us know what you need, boots, skis, snowboard or helmet, and we'll build it into your quote so it's all sorted before you travel.

Can beginners book ski lessons through you?

Yes, we work with qualified local ski schools across our resorts and can arrange lessons for complete beginners right through to more advanced skiers, in group or private formats. What's snow reliability like at Italian resorts compared to Austria or Norway?
